Breaking in Wallace - Ongoing

I'll record in this page how Wallace progresses through his breaking in. He is already going out quite competently on the long reins with somebody at his shoulder.

Gemma's Visit - 14th May 2005

Gemma had been looking forward to coming down and visiting the foal ever since she first found out that Silky had foaled. It was a shame it rained but she still managed to ride Jamie and spend some time with Demelza.

Brenin out in the Gig - 1st April 2005

It was his first time being put to my gig, which was given to me some years ago by a relative. We had been preparing for this moment for a long time and was very special to me. We had a lovely time and of course, Brenin was perfect.

Schooling Brenin, China & Rosie - 26th March 2005

We all had a nice afternoon schooling ponies; practicing for the dressage, teaching China to jump and re-educating older ponies... And a massive thank you to Jonathan for his little Easter Egg hunt afterwards - tee hee!

Snow in Fiddlers! - 23rd/24th February 2005

We had a light covering of snow which didn't even last 24 hours, but it still got us all quite excited... it doesn't happen often down here!

Silky at Bicton - 2004

Silky spent nearly an entire year at college with me at Bicton. We done heaps together up there, from hunting with the East Devon and cross-country at Bicton Arena to attending lessons in preparation for Devon County Show. We had an amazing time up there together - and a visit from Lark!
